Hearing voices coming out my car radio
April 25, 2006 05:52 AM PDT
Phase-ridden and fading, here are two minutes of vintage Egyptian pop in my remix. Snatched from the shortwave 31 Meter band (9355 to 9555 kHz), I mixed and edited down a sample of retro Egypt-o-pop music". It's sort of artful the way it fades in and out. Coming out of my car sound system which plays MP3s on CD-Rs stacked in the CD changer it ought to confuse the hell out people riding in my car listening to what they think is car radio, hee, hee. |
